Our aim is to help people give and get unwanted items for free.
In 2008 in London (United Kingdom), Freegive community free recycle movement was born, as thousands flocked to the site to find out how to give and get unwanted items for free in their own towns. Freegive recycling group is active in 124 countries across the world.
We continue to grow and improve, but we’re still sticking to our original aim of creating successful connections between people just like you and me.
We’re still passionate about recycling unwanted goods, upcycling and re-use. And we’re here to help you recycle no-longer-needed belongings, or find the perfect item at Freegive group. Our aim is to help people find the things they need and get rid of the things they don't.
Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. A simple box of food makes a big difference. At Freegive free food group, we help people give and get foods for free in their local community.
Without the commitment of our loyal customers, Freegive wouldn't be the success that it is. Therefore any comments, feedback, queries or ideas you may have regarding our service will be gratefully received. Click on the links to contact us. We’d like to thank the whole Freegive community for getting us to where we are today and we all look forward to achieving even more together. Please spread the word and help Freegive grow bigger and stronger. Thanks again for being a part of the Freegive community.
We help people give and get things for free in their local community. Some people have stuff they don't want any more. Other people would like things they don't have. We match them up - people give things directly to each other.
Our mission is to build a worldwide sharing movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources and eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community.
We don't sell your behaviour to advertisers, but we do use advertisements to support Freegive. We'd prefer not to, but we don't raise enough from donations alone to keep going. We welcome donations. Your help is really appreciated.
