How do I find a group to join

• Find a group near you by entering it into the Group Search Box or by clicking on Group Page or Browse The Groups.
  
  
• You will be taken to select your group page then click on the group name and you will be taken to your group information page. Click on the link - Visit the main your group name Yahoo! Group page to go to the Freegive Yahoogroups website and click `Join this Group`. You will be asked to `sign in` using your `Yahoo ID` and password. If you don't yet have a Yahoo ID, you should `Sign Up` which takes just a few seconds. Once you have signed in to Yahoo, you should automatically see the `Join this Group` page. Simply follow the on screen instructions, click `Join` and that is it. You need to be subscribed to a group before you can post a message.

How to join Freegive Group without yahoo email address

• Do I need a Yahoo! email address to use Freegive Yahoo! Groups?

• Under the Group information tab, you should see links, Visit the main groupname Yahoo! Group page.
• Click on the link to go to the Freegive Yahoogroups website and then scroll down to the bottom of that main local group page.

• Step 2: When you receive the email asking you to confirm your subscription click on the link provided. this will take you to a webpage. Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click where it says: "join the mailing list only"
  
  
• This will let you receive the messages on the list as emails, as well as give you the ability to post messages to the list via email; on the other hand you will not have the ability to visit the group page and see the messages online or modify your group preferences via the web interface. You will still be able to do these things through email (links are provided at the end of each message you will receive, and will allow you most of the controls you need such as changing the delivery as well as unsubscribing from the group)
